Overall, I like this list. I would like to see Fitzgerald, Brown, Winn and McCray represented, but I don’t know who to take off the existing list to add those guys.

Damn we have gotten deep, fast.
I think Arteaga may be a bit overrated at the moment but is he really lower than the guys you mentioned.

Man, it is fun to see the farm stocked again!

The Schmitt ranking seems a bit rough. Yeah, he's scuffling a bit in the big leagues but number 7?!?

I think Whisenhunt has a chance to move up the rankings quickly. He looks good.
That was my initial thought, but who do you move down? We are deep, dude. His low ranking is a GOOD thing.

Fitz didn’t make a top 49?

The only excuse for that is that he was an oversight.

And in my eyes, Ramos is already a bust. He is not a factor in my eyes anymore.

Crawford is higher than I would list him, but I think there is a solid line after 13, so I have no prob putting him at 14.

MAYBE Beck deserves some consideration at that level, but i don’t think he is in the “top 13” discussion, so I won’t quibble his exact placement.

This was Ramos' make or break year. So far, it is overwhelmingly broken. Looks like he just started a rehab assignment with San Jose so it will be interesting to see how the rest of the year goes.

Miles and McDonald are too high, in my opinion. I don't know if either will pitch again this year. Injuries do factor into rankings and both don't have much experience in professional ball (especially Miles).

Again, I have a hard time quibbling past the top 13 (maybe 15 if you want to include Beck and Fitz). Lists should include tier buffers, imho, to help add weight to positioning.

I would say that both Fitzgerald and Beck belong above them at this point in time.

I can’t disagree. I believe Fitz in in the top tier, and Beck is probably a tweener, so might as well include him in the top tier as well (but at #15).

I think any of the top 5 guys could argue for the top spot. Mainly due to Potential vs Proximity. Arias has potential through the roof. But he is still only 17 and in the DSL. Luciano has massive potential, but he is battling chronic injury issues and is currently struggling in AA. Matos and Bailey are DOING it in the Bigs, but I don’t know that either have “superstar” potential. Harrison is struggling with some slight control issues, but his potential is still sky high and he is in AAA. I still think he is best positioned as the #1 guy.

Very weird way to spell Andrew Susac, ya ask me.

If you mean Daniel Susac, he's in the A's organization. I don't know of any active professional baseball players named Andrew Susac.
Even out of baseball, he would qualify as a top 10 catcher in ALL of baseball…

Nick Lowry's backup when he doesn't feel like catching himself.
Nick doesn’t need a backup. Even when he isn’t playing, just the memory of him playing is as good as a top 5 player in the game at any position.

Its like letting Barry Bonds carry his bags. He doesn't need it, it is just something he does out of the kindness of his heart.

What would be cool if there were in parenthesis whether each was Sabs or FZ Drafted. :D:D:D:nod::nod::brick::brick:

Luciano and Matos are both hold overs. I am not certain about Arteaga. All the others are FZ acquisitions.

I just learned something new…

Tommy Joseph is the current manager for Eugene.

I had no idea he was back in the org.
