I think that's a reasonable expectation. I'd imagine it's tough to change philosophy mid season (successfully). The thing is, Kaep can make some plays that Alex cant, so that may open things up a little more.
It may be that Kap makes plays Smith can't... However we basically aren't scoring through the air right now. Kind of concerns me, does that really matter? I mean he ran 50 yards for a TD - but if that play was in the play book for Smith I think he runs it in for a td too (or at leat a huge gain). I'm not seeing the offense as upgraded.
