thats my thinking too. load up on picks, move up, get the next guy. they''ll have 100+ mil in cap space in 2021 to add weapons for him. i think this is the plan. draft him this year, sit behind stidham (see what he can do) and let the new kid learn.

this draft is loaded with talent at QB even into the 20's in round 1.

I don't think this class is what we thought it could be..I mean other than Burrow coming out of nowhere. Tua injury, Herbert is not a top 20 prospect imo but will probably go top 10...Love intriguing mid to late 1st. It isn't like the Pats to take a QB in the 1st round though. I could see them getting Fromm or Eason on day 2 though.

even guys like eason have upside, granted not as much, but theyre workable kids. i prefer eason over fromm.
