Thoughts? Favre and Faneca probably both get in next year

I don't know after the whole Tim Brown thing. I have a feeling people will snub him since he was viewed as a clubhouse cancer during his time in the league.

Probably should though.

His play on the field is definitely worthy. Averaged nearly 1,000 yards and 10 TDs over 15 years and made First-Team All Pro five times. He may not get in next year, but he will definitely get in.

There is still a WR logjam. I doubt he gets in on the first ballot.

I say he gets in 1st ballot. To me there is a logjam but there is no other receiver in that logjam that has the numbers that Owens has. My thought is honestly the only thing that maybe keeps him out is because of his off the field attitude towards those around him and just he wasn't a media darling. We have seen in the past and even today that those voting don't take too kindly to that.

I think his ME ME behavior gets in the way year one.

Like I said voters have shown in the past that they just don't take too kindly to the "bad boys" when it comes to voting. So I could see that being what keeps him out but I just don't see how anybody could justify with the stats he has put up in his career.

He was more talented than Jerry Rice.

Who should get in before him in that logjam?

Both Harrison & Bruce.

There is a pretty long list of WR(s) who deserve to be in the HoF. At least some of the logjam has been cleared in the last 3 years with Carter, Reed, & Brown finally getting in.

I think he should get in but maybe not the first round, just because of the logjam at receiver...

Not a chance. Too big of a turd in the lockerroom. People will bring up, or remember on their own, the driveway crunches and "25 million reasons to live".

Maybe one day, but not next year. I bet he starts running his mouth about it before too long and will remind people how big a turd he is. He is just about as big a jerk as Haley was, and look how long it took him...the only man with 5 SB rings and a dominant defender.

Even though TO was crazy. Got to admit that there was a time that he was considered the best WR in all off football.

Receving yards: 15,934 (2nd)
TD's: 153 (3rd)
Pro Bowls: 6

Also one of only nine players in NFL history to catch 1,000 career passes.

EASY first ballot player.

yeah no chance. He'll get in....but Marvin Harrison will get in first.

Next year will be:
Farve
Harrison
Pace
Warner
Greene
