Abnormally Average
In other words do we judge players from the past like Fran Tarkenton, Bart Starr, Terry Bradshaw, Sonny Jergonson, etc on their stats or the fact that they were winners.
You are proving my point exactly, calling Cam an average at best real world QB (based on his completion % I suppose) versus judging him on how he contributes to winning games.
I always found calling a guy "a winner" with no real numbers to back it up just means "he has been on pretty good teams". Great players reveal themselves through great plays that lead to wins, not just the wins themselves.
As to the question, yeah, fantasy colors our preseption a bit, no doubt, but great fantasy players tend to be great players in the context of the game as well.
"Great" is an abstract word that is hard to draw a line on (you must be THIS good to be "great") but I do know that there are probably 20 teams in the league that would love to have him as QB for a season.Would you consider Philip Rivers to be a great QB?

Homer alert!
58%, more losing seasons than winning ones. Horrendous td to int ratio.
He can run. He can steal td's from his rb's like nobodies business. He can take a bribe with the best of 'em.
He's average and that's ok. It really is. Average will win you games. Dalton is average.
An average QB can win games on a good team. This is so true, but people overlook this because QB's get too much credit for wins and too much blame for losses. It's always been that way. An average to below average QB can win a Super Bowl. The greatest proof of this is Eli Manning having two Super Bowl rings. The Bengals have a legit shot this year.
Fantasy football dictates how we judge the fems who have nothing better to do.

more than a pick per game. everytime he takes the field, you know you have at least one free pick coming.
