actually. They did better than I perceived & I did think you were saying a high end running team.
but
you had more mobile QBs (fields is a running QB) which naturally helps a rbs/team rushing stats.
this year that will be non existent. Also the steelers lost their main RB who had half the yards of the whole team.
Warren has 500 yds. plus a rookie. being optimistic for the Running game. Sure, ok. But it is definitely a question mark going into this year.
Personally. Im so happy najee is gone. Looking forward to warrens opportunity and im a big fan of johnson. He was. Great fit for us. Didnt think hed be there round rd 3. But Najee was a weak link.

yeah I remember when you guys drafted him.
I was expecting some huge dividends.
I really thought it would be a perfect match.

I thìnk Johnson could be a dog much like Najee's early years. I loved Najee's passion when running with the football. It's a brutal position. Bill Parcel's said it best when he said there's a target on a RB'S jersey.

Even najess early years. I never thought he was a dog. His numbers are and always have been a product of volume. He was high in yards etc rookie year but he had a billion touches. His actual numbers were poor. Hes a very mediocre back. Biggest asset was his ability to be availabe. My opinion of course

I think a lot of folks did. But they did the CHE thing. Got hyped by a guy on a loaded roster. And locked in on a position of need. It didnt work well

Yeah I think there’s a good chance Johnson is better than Najee and I think he’ll become the Steelers RB1, but he’s still unproven as of right now. But I do think the rushing game will be decent, not great but decent. The receiving unit is the biggest concern for the Steelers.

Warren showed some real
Pop and power. But hes never been given a full workload. So whether that translates is a question too.

A lot of us see Najee gone as an addition by subtraction.

Yes he has the bulk of the yards, but only because he was the workhorse that Tomlin used. He never was a someone who wowed us with his vision or skill. Quite the opposite.

Yup. He didn't get injured, he was always there, piddling away. And Tomlin was happy to piddle with him.

You guys can claim doom all you want. The Steelers have a top 5 defense, a great running game, got DK Metcalf… It’s like Brady in Tampa, Rodgers doesn’t have to be a 300 yard 3 TD guy. They win 10+ games this year IMO
Are you aware of what Brady's first two seasons were like in TB? 40 and 43 TDs and one of those seasons he threw for 5,316 yards and averaged 313 yards and 2.5 TDs per game (the other he averaged 290 yards and 2.5TDs)!!!

Yup
Bingo. And hd didnt turn it over.

I think its hilarious Najee thought he was so
Much better than he was. Talked some
Shit while leaving and immediately gets leapfrogged before he takes a snap.
