Any word on the contract yet? He was looking for guaranteed money and since they print it in their locker room, I guess they don't care where who they throw it at :rolleyes2:.

Same here... You know they're just doing it so he doesn't come back to SF.

The Dodgers will surpass the Yankees with the league's highest payroll. If there wasn't enough reason to hate the Dodgers, they are now the Yankees West. When the Giants are out of contention, at least there will be something to root for, the Dodgers getting eliminated from the playoffs.

i couldnt really have seen him coming back with the way were playing anyway. as Krueger was saying, he wants the spotlight, and what better spotlight than playoff baseball?

True, but he's going to be an off-off-broadway guy in LA. There's already too many prima donnas in that group. Should be interesting to see how they take to him. I hope he destroys their "chemistry". bahahaha!

If it is true that he had narrowed it down to the Giants, Dogs and Bucs, I think it makes sense for him to go to the dogs. They are contending and he likes the "bright lights". Pit offers contention, and SF offer the "bright lights" (kinda), but LA offers both.

I hope he has tons of success, but the dogs lose humiliatingly.

I am glad his arm is coming back but why did he have to go to the Dodgers. If he comes back and pitches later this year those SF vs. L.A. games later on should have a little extra heat to them. Can you imagine Wilson on the mound at AT&T Park in Dodger blue helping the Dodgers try and clinch the division....:lame::bullshit::doh:

My barf bag continues to fill up.:gaah:

Where will the rest of the Beach Boy's sign?

Actually, I am glad he is in LA and not Sf... I so want the giants to go from first to worst.

Henry Schulman is reporting that the Giants did not offer Wilson a deal this week. I know Rags was checking him out at USF . It just goes to show you that when the team wants the fans to get involved in all this Together we are Giants stuff it's only on the surface. MLB is a business , it always comes down to money and you are only as good as your last game or season. The game can be cold but the powers that be in baseball want you to think it's one big happy family. It's going to be weird seeing Wilson in blue. Man... Wilson is a Dodger and this bizzaro baseball year continues.

I really appreciate everything Brian Wilson gave to the Giants organization. Dude pitched his heart out....and sadly, his arm.

That being said, this decision makes him look like a clown....in my opinion. Would love to see Buster take him deep......

My favorite Closer in my time as a Giants fan stays the same......R.I.P. Shooter.....(if Weezy didn't get hurt and stayed a Giant, that might have changed.)

I think that's going to far...Giants are bad this year, and apparently didn't make him an offer anyway. Dodgers are going to the playoffs, and he's a Hollywood kind of personality. The guy is trying to live his life, trying to come back from a second TJ surgery after pitching his arm off for us. I'm rooting for him.

I'd like Buster to take him deep too, because I'm a Giants fan...but I want him to do well against every other team.

To me Nen > Beck, but Wilson > both, even now.
