Top of the third, Haren already given up one run in the first per usual. Haren strikes out, Gordon walks, Puig singles, Dee to third.

Get a one, right?

No... Han Ram strikes out. Gonzo walks. Kemp strikes out.

235 million can't manufacture a run.

Game 2- typical 2014 Dodger bullshit....

Dee gets lead off hit. Crawford hits into first pitch DP. Puig walks and works count, Han Ram weakly grounds out.

Bottom first... Greinke walks lead off, infield error leads to runners on second and third. Holiday singles, Crawford bobbles Holiday to second. Adams homers.

Game over and the Dodgers can't even record an out before they quit. Hard to get behind this team regardless of our standing. Listless uninspired baseball. Errors, bad plate approach, head case starters, bD pen, awful managing, lots of strikeouts and awful against top competition. I do not believe.

Seems convenient (to me, at least), that you mostly pop up, only when the Dodgers are in any sort of a rough stretch. As they started to get better, you began to post less and less. And over the last month, you haven't really posted much at all. You were pretty quick to talk shit about Kershaw and hang everything on the fact that he is the highest paid pitcher, ever, and yet he wasn't pitching like it. And then after his no-no, he ultimately completed a streak 41 consecutive scoreless innings, and yet you were gone. You really made it a point to talk shit about him when he didn't come back and immediately set the world on fire, and yet when he has since shown a clinic on why he is the best pitcher in the last 3+ years, POOF, you're gone.

You talked shit about the defense (and rightfully so), and yet when they went a month committing the least errors in baseball, you were also gone.

And when the pitching and batting started to come around, nope, you weren't here for that, either.

And yet, LA loses a couple in StL, with Haren, and then an unusually bad outing by Greinke, with an admitted lack of offense and some errors, and guess who comes back to being the biggest Dodger fan who finds the ability to trash the team.

LA had the best record in the NL until two days ago. They came a long way, and have played some of the best baseball in the league in the last month and a half. And that's not good enough to believe in?

How about you stay around for the great stretches of Dodger baseball, and praise Dee Gordon for probably being the most improved player in baseball from last year? And how about throwing as much praise on Kershaw for doing what he has done, as you were so quick to throw shit on him? If you are here for the good times, then people will probably give two fucks when you come on here and say that you don't believe.

If you don't believe, then what the fuck are you doing as a Dodger fan? If you can't believe in your team when we were the best in the NL at the All-Start Break, then we are all sorry that this team is not as good as your highness requires. I'm pretty sure that I can speak for a great many in Dodger Nation, when I say that none of us give a flying fuck if you believe, or not.

Yeah, I hear ya. Problem is I don't like this team when they're winning. It's rather conflicting. Furthermore, they beat up on the Padres and a few mediocre teams but it's all in part to a great starting rotation . Otherwise, even in the race, is like to seem them dump Kemp, Ethier, Crawford and even Gonzo. And I really hope they do not trade the youth for a rental.

At the end if the day I check in and post very little when they are winning because I just don't think this team is any good but why rain on your parade and sour the winning? That's not fair. But when they lose, well we can all bitch.

This team is not going anywhere. Sorry if we disagree on that. They could make the playoffs, but they will not have the dynamics to win it all.

I don't know, I guess we see things differently. I would love the Dodgers to get to, and win, the WS. I think that's fairly obvious for all of us. But when that doesn't happen for every team in baseball except for 1 team from each league, then I, like everyone else, had better have something else about the Dodgers that keeps me coming back each season.

That streak last year that the Dodgers went on was one of the greatest stretches I've ever seen from any team in my life. And the fact that it was the Dodgers, wow, I was on cloud nine last season. We didn't finish as well as I would have obviously liked, nor did we finish as well as we could have. But that streak last year will be one of my fondest memories as a Dodger fan.

And watching Kershaw do what he is doing over this almost 4 years so far, is another piece of Dodger baseball that I will hold close to me forever. I can say that I watched Kershaw pitch when he was the most dominant Dodger pitcher since the Bulldog. These players don't come around but just a few times every decade. And the fact that he is a dodger? I am so thankful.

I mean, you can appreciate all of that, right? Because you can't expect LA to get to the WS every year, right? That doesn't mean that they have failed for that year. You have to be able to see that. You look at absolutely any team in the game, and even the greatest franchises in the game have entire decades where they not only miss deep postseason runs, but they miss the playoffs with regularity. Even though the Dodgers are missing the WS, they are still fun to watch. I loved seeing 4 consecutive ROYs. I loved watching those guys all play together. I loved watching the Dodgers go back to back to back to back to tie it in the ninth, and then Nomar to win it in extras in a walkoff HR. I loved the back to back NLCS series against the Phils, after beating the Cards. And I've loved to watch this team last year and this year. You can be happy about watching the Dodgers do what they are doing. You can be happy for Kershaw, even if you just cannot find a way to root on the Dodgers unless you are convinced that they will win the pennant. And, you can post about it. Because when you only post at times when you talk shit, then you show us that you are basically trolling your favorite team. I'm not sure that's going to be appreciated by anyone.

It's kind of like my golf game: I keep score, and I hang out in the 90s. It's not good, but it's not bad. But I don't necessarily hang my hat on the overall score. I look for those couple shots per round that are undoubtedly pro shots, and look pure as the fresh driven snow. That's what keeps me coming back.

I'd like the Dodgers to get to the WS every year, but I will like them regardless, and root them on. There are countless teams in history who have looked like it was going to take a natural disaster to keep them from being champs, and yet they fell apart in the playoffs. And there have been a host of teams who have limped into October and then just ran the table on everyone. You should really just sit back and enjoy that it's baseball season, that we get the opportunity to watch Kershaw, that even though the Dodgers are not a lock to win the WS, at least we go more than a decade at a time where we completely fail to even sniff .500. baseball. And at least we still get to hear Vin on the call.

Just enjoy Dodger baseball.

Why in the FUCK do we have a .300 hitter 7th in the lineup???????

I will never get over that. What the fuck is he thinking?? What sense does it make to have a guy hitting .300 behind guys that are hitting .240, .250, .260??? Put Gonzo and Ethier at 5th or 6th until they figure it out.

I understand 100% with what you are saying. Sports conjures up subjective emotions and my reaction is to vent when I am not happy about the Dodgers play. I liked how Paul LoDuca played the game. A fiery player with not a lot of God given talent but a ton of passion that was infectious. He certainly did not play on the best Dodger teams but I remember watching him in August/September attempting to will the Dodgers to a division.

When you see the Giants, Cardinals brand of National league baseball you seem teams with players that have roles and for the sake of the team (and in jeopardy of their own stats and welfare) they carry out their managers requested approach. The are winners because the are a team. I just do not see the Guggenheim Dodgers playing their roles to win. Kemp is complaining about not being in centerfield, however his defense (and plate approach) is atrocious. It's about Matt Kemp, not sucking it up, leading by example and playing where the manager tells you to.
