Not sure that I'm seeing much of a threat here if I'm an owner. If the talks drag past New Year's, then were likely looking at a complete lost season anyways. If there is no hockey until Sept '13, the fans who signed on to this will be supposedly 'committed' to missing roughly 3/5 of NEXT season as well.

Can you really see many people doing that?

yeah I agree as well. that being said I can see empty arenas in alot of smaller markets but you wont see any in canada.

if I drop my season tickets for the next season (which I think Im going to) there are 10,000 people on a wait list to get Canucks Season tickets. it means nothing to them and they know it and dont care. same across canada and the big markets in the states. you have to love they make this video wearing their teams Jerseys
