At halftime, I was undecided. Knew they needed a 3 and out or turnover at the start of the third. Then thought they had a shot. Kept referring to the 24-0 halftime deficit against the Broncos. When it was 28-3, I absolutely thought it was over.

At halftime I said, 30-28 Pats'! Wife thought I was shit faced, pissed everyone off in the house, as soon as they scored in OT I stood up wife looks at me and says, "Where you going?" I lean over right in face and say with my best impersonation of a Boston person's voice I say, " I'm gonna go suck Tommy's cawk now!"

Yeah at halftime my son said it's over and he wanted to turn the channel to some friggin movie. I told him the Falcons looked good in the first half, but don't ever give up on Brady in a big game like the Super Bowl. My son is a big Seahawk fan and when they lost to the Pats in the 2015 SB, he was saying that the game was over with about 10 minutes to go and the Seahawks up 24-14. I told him then to never count Brady out of a game with that much time left.

Agree. Pats played the full 60 and then were more than ready for OT. Amazing the preparation and work that went into that.

Falcons had a 3 and out to start the second half. The Patriots couldn't capitalize and the play-calling was still terrible. Drove home 2 hours, listened to the rest on the radio. Play-by-play by Kevin Harlan.

I will say, there was a lot of chatter on twitter from Boston area sportswriters that Brady would have the ball with a chance to tie it at some point in the game. This was at halftime.
