Recent Development May Land Chicago Bears Another 2021 Draft Pick
The Chicago Bears are already projected to have eight picks in the 2021 draft. Now a new development could unintentionally land them a ninth.

Two interesting little tidbits from this story. One is this will be the Bears first road playoff game since '95. Never paid much attention to stuff like this, altho I should have, being we've been involved in so few postseason opportunities. But the bigger story and the reason for the article is that it's possible we may end up with consecutive compensatory 3rd round picks in the next two drafts if the Broncos hire Bears assistant pro personnel director Champ Kelly. Had no idea whatsoever about that newly installed compensation rule. Kelly has early ties with the Broncos and Vic Fangio when he was still with the Bears, so it's not out of the realm of likelihood.
