I had on the madden, the bottom screen said GB 37 Dallas 36 with 1:00 left.

I was like :omg:

OK...gotta be honest...I didn't watch this game because I thought the 'Boys were going to spank the Packers without Rodgers.

And it looked like it was headed that way.

WTF happened in Dallas today?

garrett doesn't call the plays...

So it's not up to the HC to suggest to the OC... "hey, maybe we shouldn't be chucking it around with a big lead while we're shredding them on the ground" ? Garrett is an offense guy. That shit is on him.

Apparently a running play was called...

And Romo checked out of it in order to throw that last INT.

Why wasn't Dallas running the damn ball?

Exactly! I watched the last part of that game and I don't get it. Dallas is playing the clock at that. They should have run the ball and if there was any passing it should be something high percentage. Didn't like the bomb down field.

Romo has control at the line. I'm thinking he checked out of plenty of run plays today.

Wanted to be a hero, wound up a goat.

Now it's Romo's fault his receiver cut off his route? Between this and the Stave threads, its pretty clear you don't comprehend that there is more to an offense than a quarterback.

What does Stave's ineptitude have to do with this? When did I ever blame Romo for any of the int's? Thank you for your contributions.

The guy with the highest QB rating ever in the 4th quarter and the most game-winning drives over the last three years has stats which suggest he is terrible?

Romo is statistically an excellent player. Through 100 starts, he is a top ten statistical QB in NFL history.

but not in December and proof right there that stats are meaningless by themselves. His stats say he's top 10 but he really isn't even close to that. Probably be a stretch to crack top50 all-time.

Exactly, Romo has the ability to change the play call at the line so all this blame on the play calls goes out the window since Romo has the final say.

He is the biggest choke job ever in any sport. I can't think of a bigger choke artist that fucks up every year like Romo.

Your thoughts were correct until halftime with the Cowboys up 26 - 3

Ask Jason Garrett - he was the genius who approved the 2nd half game plan. I am tired of folks blaming Romo for things beyond his control. Boys, the fact of the matter is that It was an idiotic to choose not to run & it cost Dallas the game.. It is high time for Jason G to man-up & tell the assembled reporters "Guys, that loss was my responsibility, and no one else's." If Jason does this, I will gain a modicum of respect for the man

:10: :agree: So Romo checked out of 1 play. What about all of the others run in the 2nd half. It never should have come down to that 1 play. The damn game probably would have been over by then if they'd just come out running the ball.
