Jason garrett is no head coach. He's a good OC, but he's a pathetic excuse for a head coach.

Jerry Jones = Al Davis 2.0.

Art Rooney is the greatest owner in the history of the league and Chuck Noll one of the greatest coaches ever. Do you think Art Rooney would tell Chuck Noll who to draft? Or choose who makes the roster and who doesn't? Or what the depth chart is going to be? Or give a post game presser? Or hang out in the locker room?

Art Rooney - and most other owners - hire a coach, give him all the power they can, and get the hell out of the way. The GM is the go between for the HC and owner. Just shut up and sign the checks.

Not Jerruh Jones. He can't stand it.

IMHO, Jimmy Johnson's Cowboys could have won not 3 but 4 and maybe 5 rings if Jerruh had just stayed out of it. They were THAT good with him as the HC.

He knows he's the problem but wont fire himself as GM. He HAS to have as many fingers in the pie as he can. Why? Because he wants the credit. It bothers the helll out of him that he doesn't get any credit for the 3 rings won in the early 90's.

He has to have complete control from the top down.

Do me a favor....look at the credible coaches out there right now. Bill Cowher, John Gruden, etc. Name me one - just ONE - that would be willing to take over the Cowboys with Jerry Jones drafting the people, determining who's on the roster, what depth they're at, etc.

Go ahead.

Any HC worth his salt is going to want to do it HIS way, not Jerruh's so all Jerry is left with are coaches that are on someone's "B" list. If that.

Just like Al Davis, the Cowboys are going to be where they are as long as Jerry is in charge.
