Good move for them, bad move for Soap in the long run since he'll probably be looking for a new team again next year. I can't see them keeping both once Wilfork comes back, that'd be over $10mil wrapped up in the NT.

Sopoaga probably had no choice. Seems he wasn't valued very much by the Eagles if they gave up him and a 6th for only a 5th

How does everyone think Dorsey is doing so far? I don't think we've played against great opponent while Dorsey has been in there. But I do feel like there hasn't been a drop off in the linebackers production.

Defense has improved their play overall yes...

Dorsey has been playing very well for his part... although I do not believe he is the ideal NT that takes on two blockers in the run defense, he's been good but importantly not much of a deterrent thus far...

Still feel NT needs improvement next season or later this season(can Dial be that guy?)

If he can play I could see him sticking around. It really depends on how a lot of things play out, though.

as it stands now, don't see us 'needing' to improve NT next season....assuming that means adding a 'pricey' FA or high/mid round draft pick? if it doesn't mean that, scratch this comment now.

agree they'll certainly have to give Dial every chance the rest of this season. also give Ian Williams every chance next off-season. factor in Dorsey and don't see us addressing NT unless its a 'younger, cheaper' FA, or late draft pick for development?
