I thought that that that was one of the reasons they got rid of Murray, to free up some cash to pay Bryant.

If Dez sat out a season they would pull the baby sitters and next year he would be suspended by Goofdell for some stupid shit.

No need to sit out the season. Three games should bring the Cowboys to their knees.

Really dude? What was the score last time Seattle and Dallas played? I wouldn't be to cocky abput the ineptitude of the teams that beat you in your own house last year.

Geez what does the last game played between our team matter? I'm not being cocky at all, just giving a opinion of what is going between Dez and the Cowboys. I just feel the Cowboys really need him right now so if he held out, they would show him the money Some folks are just so sensitive .

You said nothing wrong. I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that.
I was going to come at you with a homer post but I refrained.

My apilogies. Just yanking your chain a little. Hell it's the offseason. I'm bored and Seattle fans are easy to rile up. I'd be raggin' Redskin and 49er fans but hell, that would just be cruel.

I give you a thumbs ups up for everything , but that part about how easy it is to rile us up. Consider me not riled.

Meh. This isn't the 60's where the guys are sitting on their asses until training camp. I'm sure Dez will be in prime condition when he does show up. The timing might be an issue but conditioning won't.
Incorrect. The body hardening from the blows of football tackles can only come with the pads on.
You can be in great shape going into a fight but unless you have been taking punches, the punches are going to hurt.....

It's so stupid when players do this. They are going to play. No NFL player has ever sat out a regular season..... it would DESTROY their chances of signing elsewhere for big money the following year (out of football a season, likely out of condition, older, and HUGE attitude/ethic concerns).

Whatever, Dez will play this season despite a new contract or not.

I wish more teams would just say, "k whatever...." kind of like Seattle is doing with Michael Bennett.

In some ways I agree with you...but there are times when the player has to use whatever leverage they have to get a deal done (Emmitt Smith)...playing under a franchise tag is not one of those times though...you play it out and cash in long term next season...that's the way the NFL/NFLPA worked this out...the team gets a 5th yr, and the player makes top dollar with the Franchise tag.

If Dez doesn't get his contract and sits around with nothing to do...

Count on at least 1 arrest, 1 waffle house fight, 2-3 strippers being slapped, and a possible OJ like police chase.

Being idle is bad news for this cat.

Dez reminds me more and more of Terrell Owens every day.

Fucking fuckity fuck. My keepers are Julio, Dez and Brady. Or they were. Probably gonna keep some scrub RB over Brady since he'll be undervalued.

When Dez changed agents (again) last November this was part of the story then:
"The move to Roc Nation could throw in a wrench in Bryant's upcoming contract negotiations. According to multiple reports, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones didn't want Bryant to sign with Roc Nation and Jones will be reluctant to do a deal with them."

How much legs this has and how much truth there is to it, who knows. Seems we are about to find out soon.
