We don't need a stud. We have a stud in Miles Sanders. He is going to get the most of the touches out of the backfield as he should, after him Boston Scott will get the second most touches. They are probably going to keep 4 backs total and they seem to be interested in bringing a veteran into that RB room. I'd have love Shady on the team as a 4th back. Him and DeSean back on the Eagles together.
as a 4th back, yeah, if hes willing to do that, but thats likely days without a jersey agian.

It all comes down to guarantees and contract terms. A contract without guarantees isn't worth it for any half decent vet. It'll be interesting to see what Hyde gets.

He's willing to do that. He has been trying to get the Eagles tor trade for him again and sign him again since he left. He wants to finish out his career here and he and DeSean want to play together again. Both were foolishly shipped off by Chip Kelly.

Then you sign him. Nice vet presence.

If the Falcons keep giving him the ball in the Super Bowl they don’t absolutely choke and have a ring

I can’t think of a scenario where a RB held out and missed training/playing time for more money and it didn’t go extremely well so this has to be a great plan.

I don't see any source quoting contract guarantees just yet. The guarantees and how bonuses will be earned is important. The maximum earnings figure of $4M is less important because he's unlikely to earn it. If he didn't get much of a signing bonus and little else is guaranteed until Week 1 then he'd be a likely cut candidate should the Seahawks RBs be healthier than expected.

My thoughts as well. RBs have very short careers and it cracks me up when they waste one of their seasons looking for money they won't get. Certainly not enough to make up for the lost season.

That's all I have. I haven't seen guarantees or bonuses but I do know he will be on the team come week 1. Penny won't until close to mid season is my guess.
