This lineup and the two changes they made in the bullpen must be I'm not sure what to call it but if this doesn't work they will become sellers

They have four nice FA to be pieces to sell. DD could really flip the team over if he does it right.

But he won't, he'll dig the hole deeper.

Pretty bad when you have a 7 run lead and ofcourse the bullpen has to make things interesting as usual......This team isn't winning anything this year.....DD has to know the bull pen sucks donkey dicks and adding a 7th or 8th inning RP isn't going to fix the problem......

I said it before the season started ... he had very little track record as a starter. Basically one great half-season (first half of last year). Prior to 2014, he'd never thrown more than 130 innings in a season in his career. And he's 34. My predictions were .500 record (like 12-12) and ERA around 4.50. I'd say that screams classic #5 starter. Nothing more.

Looks like he might get more wins, though, primarily because of a hot start and good hitting support.

If we had any other options I'd be yelling for him to get out of the rotation. But clearly we don't.

I still hate that DD traded young talent for one year of Simon. (Doubling his time spent as a starter.)

Sanchez had better go verrrry deep tomorrow afternoon. Bullpen is going to spent for an important Twins series otherwise. (7 starts in a row of atleast 7 for Sanchez. Hoping he makes it 8.)
