AL Central is Tiger's to lose. Royals have major flaws in their rotation that they can't address... They are tapped out as far as spending... and their farm is not strong with major league ready guys right now. KC - 81 wins

Indians are on fire but have their own major question marks. I don't see them finishing with more than 88 wins.

White Sox on paper look great and on the field just dont add up. They will sell at the deadline. 78 wins

Twins have played so far above their heads recently its not even funny. They will be lucky to maintain enough to get to 80 wins

Good analysis, but I think KC will be there in Sept., Twins will not. Thinking low 90s for wins if the Tigers start scoring runs like they can. KC could be right with us in the low 90s again.

I don't see KC being able to maintain... their starters are god awful and they have won in spite of the fact they are 1 of the 5 worst rotations as far as ERA goes and innings pitched. I see no way they get any better and could easily get worse. Their bullpen is going to start to show wear at some point with all the 2-5 inning outings the royals starters have.

When the offense in KC comes back to reality.. which it is starting to do... and the bullpen starts to wear down... which it will... they will fade. Unlike teams like the Tigers, or even Cleveland which have some room to add salary.. the Royals are capped out... trade deadline isnt going to save them... But the Tiger's could easily add an arm or two like they normally do.

KC reminds me of the Brewers from last year... they were in first all year long until the last few weeks.. then petered out because they just were not as good as their record showed.

doubtful that KC is tapped out on spending. They are making money hand over fist as the bandwagons pull up outside Kaufman before every game.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Detroit and KC finish 1-2 in the AL record wise. Or 2-1. Since they're the best two teams.

Boston could be better than both after they add a #1 starter.

I love the DP with Kinsler and Iggy.....They make it look fluid and easy.......Somehow it looks like a train wreck with Romine or Machado trying to do it......Raburn made it look like a trainwreck hit by a bus and run a shore by a ocean liner then crashed into by a 747 jumbo jet......
