Yep. And two shutout games with what should be our #4 and #5 starters pitching (if JV wasn't hurt). Will take that any time. Four shutouts for the Tiger staff in nine games, and would have been five if not for an unearned run in Game 3 vs. Minny.

These are type of games I remember when guys complain of Iggy not hitting. Remember a games where he was clutch. Avila and him reaching base 8 straight at bats and Avila starting three separate rallies in a game. I really don't remember a major league team always getting offense from the 8 and 9 spot. Reason they bat there anyway.

I will take Iggy and Avila's gloves and also and his ability to call games over the offense they provide. What offense the Tigers get from them is extra.
