Cleveland is in for a long season they don't get some starting pitching.

Iglasias is going to be fun to watch for an entire season. I think Boston will be sorry they ever traded him.

Gotta love Francona's "No mas" after Miguel Cabrera had a hit in 8 straight at-bats Sat-Sun. He intentionally walked Miggy with a guy on first base, to put a runner in scoring position for V-mart. Not something you'd normally do, but I can't blame him.

Yeah, they weren't gonna go 162-0, but this one still stung a bit. Confounded as to why, after the Pirates bring in a RH reliever, Ausmus lets Castellanos, a RH batter, hit, then substitutes V-mart for the LH batting Avila. I suppose it was some sort of nod of confidence for the young guy, but Castellanos is a big boy. He can take it if you PH for him with last year's MVP runner-up.

I like that Greene had a strong outing with no run support. Good sign, prolly won't see many nights with no support. He is showing early signs of not missing Ricky P. Even though Muzzer never wanted to give him up.
