I almost vomited 3 times watching that game......So many chances to make feel we were in charge of the game.....I love the outcome but again we didn't have to see the Bull Pen......We can't keep this up......We are going to have to see that bull pen sooner or later.......And that's when I fear we will coming crashing down to earth...

In the mean time, I'm loving what's going on......Defense has been kicking ass and that is fun to watch when a ball is hit and feel confident it's going to get fielded before the camera gets there......

Agreed, but how many lefty starters have we faced so far, and how many games has Gose started? I have a hunch the math won't add up, but I could be wrong.

Ya, basically were talking about Raji Davis playing OF against Lefty Pithers vs Gose playing against Righty pitchers......

I'm just curious how many starting left handed pitchers have we faced in our first 12 games and how many Gose started........Common sense would say Raji Davis started against leftys and Gose started against righties.......But I have a hunch the math won't add up.......

That's not to say Ausmus isn't playing a hunch or oujia board etc with his decisions to keep Gose on the bench when he was red hot when he was playing.

I dunno.

But Sale started on Saturday, Quintana yesterday and Big CC tonight. Avila hasn't started any of those three games either. (Gose came in on Saturday, and Avila played first late in the game.)

There might have been a game where he's strayed, but I think Ausmus plans to stick with a straight lefty/righty platoon. (Rajai did cost Sanchez a run on Saturday. Got a bad jump, dropped in front of him, guy went on to score. And Gose made a nifty little diving grab late in the game in center. But at 10-2 I'm okay with everything. Even Perez starting at third that one game.

Cant catch a break thus far in this game......Would hate to lose a close game to the Yankees...Simon has done fine, better then fine.....The Yankees outfield is going to have to let something drop at some point.........
