No entirely serious. Tigers will need a starter for 2 starts with Sanchez on the DL. Robbie ray with 2-2 record with an era of 1.93 and a whip of 1.07 is the best choice. If anyone has another choice, please feel from to enlighten me. Nate Robertson, Duane below um uggggg.

the first start missed would be against the Astro's who are really a AAA team, so why not a starter from AAA. Houston right now on track for 47-115 record. Really for Houston playing in a really tough AL west may lose 120 games this season.

Let's be clear here....I don't know hardly anything about the guy......What I do know is guys like Ortega, Miller, Putkonen, Coke, Joba, Krol etc etc all got there chance before Ray......That tells me all I need to know....I hope for the best but Tigers don't make the best decisions when coming to Pitching....I get he will start instead of relief.

I'm just looking for a guy that throws strikes and we can't find that on this team or in Toledo.

Today's rainout was great. Today, tommorrow and Thursday without games. Im hoping Tuesday or Wednesday or both get rained out in Chicago too. (I don't understand the off days before and after a two game in-division series, but I like the timing.)

Raburn batting .188 for Cleveland. Now everybody is happy.

I'm not rejoicing, but not surprised either. Raburn has been this way his whole career -- he'll have a few great months, surrounded by several months of suck. Cleveland giving him a contract extension after his good three-month stretch last year was just plain stupid, if they'd looked at his history and the fact that he was 32 then (now 33).

tribe paying raburn 2 years for 4.865 mil. That is really a good contract foe both sides. 2.4 mil a season for a backup player is about right.
