JD Martinez tearing it up in toledo.....10 HR's in 65 AB's......he was an astros top prospect not too long ago....they should bring him up for the sox and all their lefties.

not understanding bringing up a RH OF when we already have three. I would gone with the lefty Carerra who is 9 for 9 in SB and hitting 364 with an obp of 419. This reeks of a JL move. Bringing up a guy that might run into one. As opposed to guy that can come of the bench and steal a base.

I think im the only one who likes rod allen.....living in chicago i have to get the package, so i watch alot of other teams and their announcers....i like rod......but thats because i have to listen to that irritating fuck the hawk when the tigers play the sox....

I like Rod. He brings some fun to the game. Though he does tend to heap lavish praise on players sometimes when it's totally unwarranted. About a week ago, he was gushing about what a great game Alex Avila had played. Avila did make one nice stop on a pitch in the dirt with a guy on third. Otherwise, I think he was 0-for-2 catching base stealers and 0-for-3 at the plate with a walk. And for THAT, Rod is slobbering all over him?

A manager can ask for, but not demand, a review from the 7th inning onward even if he's out of challenges. It's up to the crew chief if he wants to review it or not. That's BS. Even in football it's strictly up to the booth. I don't think they would have reviewed and overturned that if Ventura hadn't started yapping.
