Pen is maybe the worst in the entire league. Not one guy in that pen I trust. Its much worse than last years and last years pen sucked.

I can't believe he is on a MLB roster. Now he has a guaranteed salary for the year. Ausmus took a big gamble bringing him in and it backfired, even with the win. Nathan did what he was supposed to. So did AA. Great start by Rick P.

A lot of hyperbole will be tossed around about the BP but Tiger fans need to relax and let Ausmus get the BP in order.

Bronco kelly....don smitty......however you like to say it....i never got why
fans on mlive and even cbs dont like DK...i admit i wouldnt want him starting
everyday, but DK is a great bench player....he always seems to do the job..

Don Kelly may be on the 9th of his 9 lives, but he's making the most of it.

I think Coke punched his ticket out of town today.....all that went on in the 9th wasn't all the BP....there were some weird plays in the field too.....Way too early to get crazy about shit and declaring this the worst.....

Been pleased with Al Al so far. Came in after Coke sucked, and he got a pop-up. Unfortunately, Kelly and A-Gonz messed it up. And Nathan got a ground ball that A-Gonz threw away. Wasn't thrilled with the bullpen in the 9th, but with decent defense, there would have been nowhere near that much drama.

Coke does blow donkey dick, though.

After the botched pop-up, it officially became a save situation (tying run on deck), so Ausmus went with his save specialist, I guess.

Coke has NO confidence, absolutely none. Was the sun playing tricks on Hunter? Flubbed a couple out there in RF. Tig's have a real problem at SS. Both those rejects suck, so why not bring Worth up?


Other then that, 4-0 looks pretty good.

Yah I was listening on the radio and dan and jim were surprised as well, they arent caught off guard much, brad fooled them, they nicknamed ausmus "hook" already. I like that hes the opposite of JL in that hes not afraid to pull his pitchers quick, although AA did his job there, I was concerned as well going to a closer that is clearly not doing well.

Yeah parts of the defense are awful, but five runs is five runs. Way too many hard hit balls off nathan, chamberlain sucked yesterday, coke is awful, nathan not impressive. Their best pitcher out of the pen is smyly!
