Not to beat a dead horse but the tigers should have traded max last offseason while they still could and kept fister.

It is a dead horse in that there's nothing Detroit can do about it now. The Fister trade is definitely one of the worst moves in DD's tenure here. Going into 2015 with Price, JV, Anibal, Fister and Porcello with some regular player(s) in place of Max and $$$ to extend Price looks better than having 4 of those 5 for 2015, getting nothing but a draft pick for Max, and possibly losing Price after next season.

Its crazy porcello is just hitting his prime and I remember like six years ago rumors swirling about porcello in a deal for halladay. Guy has been consistent, mature and injury free.

LOL. And Robbie Ray was the player that DD said he absolutely HAD to get to make the deal. We are now left with Ian Krol among the 3 guys we got for Fister. Ugh and double-ugh.

At least Greene only cost Robbie Ray who was not a prospect from our system. Greene develops into a #3 guy, it will help ease the mistake by DD of Fister. Ease not erase so don't chatise me.

There is another prospect involved and reported to possibly be a infielder???

Greene has a pretty decent #1 , with an average of 93.7. As opposed to Ray who barely touched 91 . Tigers will have him under team control for 5 years. According to fangraphs uses his cutter as his offspeed pitch. May need to work on a change to keep lefties under control.

He seemed to have put himself in the doghouse by the end of the season. Hernan Perez making a post season roster led me to believe Suarez would not be part of the '15 Tigers. But it'd be nice if a player who definitely won't is dealt instead.

I have no issue with Greene being added. Unless its to replace Porcello, then Im gonna freak out.

No I believe Lebya an IF at west Michigan. Interesting the D backs turned down Greene for the SS, yet wanted Ray and Lebya both who played in the Arizona Fall League.
