I liked how our 9th innings in huge playoff games came down to AB's with romine, suarez, holaday......just great.....8th inning guy and our lineup after the top 5 hitters. That was my worries back in april....i mean, balt walked THE GO AHEAD RUN IN THE 9th.

I'm with ya. When I saw the playoff roster and a bench of Kelly, Holaday, Suarez and Perez ... yuck. 4 home runs between them this year, all by Suarez. Pretty damn telling that Showalter would intentionally walk Castellanos -- a 22-year old rookie -- knowing the crap that was behind him either in the lineup or on the Tiger bench.

The fister trade has been daves biggest mistake up to this point JDW. Other then that dave excels at trades. Trading fielder was huge and should give detroit the opportunity for retaining price. It will suck to see vmart sign elsewhere but hes really getting to that age where he will not be worth a long term deal.

I think the NL teams are far superior to the AL teams. Looks like another cards or giants win. Although the royals have definitely been impressive, i am rooting for them. i dont mind the royals in fact kinda like em and most of their fans arent bad.

It'd have been sweet to win one for Mr. I (his health is declining)...especially against the Giants or Cards. On the flip side, it'd have been quite embarrassing to lose to either again.

The Royals have all but punched their ticket to the Series. Root for them?

I would rather see the royals win the WS than the cards or giants. Although some of the fans are pretty annoying and they havent won in 30 years, so as tigers fans we would have to listen to them brag aout 2014 until we were dead.

Their fans are tolerable, even when the whole 1984 vs. 1985 pissing match surfaces. George Brett, Bo Jackson, cool waterfall "Spectacular" thingy....it's all good.

I suppose we just win it next year, and call it good.

Rather have the Royals win it then the Cards or Giants......Atleast we can claim the AL Central as the hardest division and had to play them 18 times and owned them.....Where as the Cards and Giants owned us in both the past WS......Go Royals.

Im rooting against the royals like i do the white sox, injuns, and twins.....hate ALL rivals!

I dont root for other big 10 teams....other AL Central teams, other NFC North teams.....cant give our rivals anything to brag about....as bad as the white sox have been, my friend here still reminds me how they won a WS in 05 and the tigers havent since '84. Id rather have the NL win every WS if the tigers dont win...

True, but most fans are tolerable until they win it all. Then some become awful. Not all royals fans are tolerable. I can think of one thats a nasty tigers hater.

I think UM plays good for a half....the thought of ruining states championship run..cook will have a terrible TO....but i see it being 27-17...state winning....but im hoping for a 49-3 blowout

Im not sure, whos available? While vmart had a ridiculous year it was a contract year. He wont put up those type of power numbers again imo and somebody is going to pay too much for too long of a contract. He will be washed up in two years. If tigers could get him for two years I would be all over it, but we know thats not happening.
