Brad waited til the last minute to post the lineup last nite deciding if Miggy should DH or play 1st.....decided he wanted his defense at 1st because a rookie was on the hill....the guy can hardly walk.....I wonder about the Manager some times....u had it right on Adrian. ..

unfortunately Miggy is hurt and is hurting the team. His defense right now is awful. On offense he can't seem to get the ball in the air . Occasionally he hits one through the infield. Dl isn't really a consideration with rosters expanding tomorrow. Ithink he needs to sit a week. 252 BA in August with 11 rbi and 5 DP. Not really a lot of options. Maybe bring up Moya for DH and move Victor to 1B and rest Cabrerra for a week or so. Could go with the 2 speedsters plus JD in the OF and torii at DH against righties also.

Hurting the team is more Jeter style right now. There were viable options on bench. Not many replace what he could do until now when he can barely move. He can sit a few games. Starting pitching will carry team more than Miggy will.

Scary that during this Miggy downturn the Tigers closed the gap and are tied with KC.

I dont wanna see DK everyday though. Like the thought of moya getting some PT. Adam dunn got traded lol. The A's are going into panic mode.

The tigers dont realistically have a shot if miggy is out for any length of time. Theres a reason he won MVP two years in a row. He carries this team. His power numbers are down for some time now and the tigers are struggling. He was injured late last season and the tigers offense struggled mightily. Its unfortunate for tigers fans but it is what it is.
