He needs to sit long enough for it to heal or just DH only... he will most likely reinjure himself in the field. He can at least jog on base path.

I would rather have healthy Miggy later this month and October than 50% Miggy right now.

My issue with DH only is that ankle will affect his swing... even with a HR today. Sometimes the pitcher helps balls get out of park. So he is not suddenly healthy.

it would appear the tribe having the same problem with sunday night espn games the Tigers did. late nite finished followed by an early 4 pm start. Hopefully it puts them in a funk for the entire 4 game series.

not to make excuses. but these guys have their own routine and having the tribe play in KC followed by a 4pm start is bit strange. However, the home team chooses the start time. So the Tribe has no one to blame except their own team. If MLB wanted this 4 pm start time then shame on them for having a team play sunday night followed by 4 pm start.

Does ESPN ask who they can have on SNB?

Better question is if they do how far in advance? Then does that interfere with the home team being able to change start time?

espn usually chooses in advance. However they can change as the season goes on. I believe next sundays game against Giants was changed to sunday night recently. However I would have no idea if they changed last nites game to get tribe/royals. I can't believe this was originally scheduled for sun nite. Fortunately Tigers are staying home after this next sunday nite game.

oops wait scratch that. Tigers have changed the start time next monday for 4:00, probably due to the Lions opening on monday nite football at 7:00. Still they will be at home.
