Don't know, but you don't want your leadoff hitter wearing a Golden Sombrero (4 Ks) at the end of a game. Give Kinz a rest if you must, Brad, but don't bat A-jax leadoff.

Doesn't help either when your big sluggers (Cabrera and V-mart) go 1-for-25 in a series.

Crazy numbers for this years 15 round pick Michael gerber the left handed OF from Creighton. On saturday nite he went 4 for 5 with 2HR, triple and double for eight rbi. As a seasoned college player he is probably playing down a level. Should really IMO be at regular season west Michigan, not rookie short season. In 10 games as a pro he has been one hit from the cycle three times.

I have to say I am a little bit disappointed in the Tigers organization with regards to the 84 celebration. Larry herndon (hitting coach lakeland A ball) and lance Parrish (manager AA Erie) should have been flown in for the ceremony.

Jackson's fielding has often been wildly overrated by Tiger fans. Decent catch there, though.
