What is this, some kinda crazy magical incarnation of the '84 Tigers team? If they go on to win this game.. hmm... I might just believe it.

I'm watching the Nats-Reds game, but just might change over.

These guys are crazy this year. (Wearing Zubaz might be the secret weapon.). Most fun I've had watching since '06. And that team was touched by the hand of God or something. (I forgot this was on ESPN tonight until just now.). What inning is the Reds game in now Ruby?

It's the middle half of the 11th.. Nats pitching just got out of a huge jam, game is still 2-2.

Is this game on ESPN? LOL... I didn't know either. I was peeking at it on mlb.tv.

No matter what, any reasonable fan has gotta tip their hat to the Tigers for what they've shown this last week. On the cusp of a 7 game winning streak.. on the road?? That just demands respect. I thought the Indians might be a stopper (hell, they know you guys a lot better than non-division teams do) but the Tigers are showing that same never-say-die magic tonight.

Sounds like there's some good baseball tonight for such a limited schedule. (ESPN has to be somewhere, and there aren't many options. The KC/SouthSide game looks exciting too.)

The Yankees have the 3rd best team batting AVG in the league.

Have you checked stats lately!? It doesn't seem like it.

Sure, the rotation is a mess right now due to injuries but what can they do!? The spot starters are getting the job done and (Team Tanaka) is in 1st place. :rollseyes:

Sure, the rotation is a mess right now due to injuries but what can they do!? The spot starters are getting the job done and (Team Tanaka) is in 1st place. :rollseyes:

Injuries or not, that team has a mediocre rotation.. And the lineup probably won't do that well all season.. Orioles are a better team IMO despite the BP..

If it wasn't for the kind of season the Tigers are having, I'd ordinarily say the Royals have a chance to raise some eyebrows this season with their pitching. They still might... wildcard-wise.

I love their pitching. Starters, relievers, closers. But no power in that lineup. Speaking of power, Michael Brantley you sumbidge! (I predict folks get their bitching about the bullpen fix in. Starting.....,now.)
