I'm not concerned about JV. Or Max, or Sanchez, or Prince or VMart or AJ, or Iggy, or Infante or Torii or...... I am concerned that stealing bases off the Tigers is like taking candy from a baby. Holy hell it's ridiculous. Atleast JV, unlike Scherzer or Sanchez, has a move to first. Not that it matters, guys don't even have to take a lead to steal second.

shutout for the tenth time this season. Tigers are a slooooow team. Why not a bench guy torun for prince in the ninth ? Somehow this play reminded me of prince trying to score in the WS last season.

Horrible call by Brookens... Can't fault Fielder, he did the best he could... Not many people can go from 1st to home on this team and he should have been held up.. Not sure if Holiday would have knocked him home after, but you would have still had the chance..

Miggy and prince could consistently steal bases against our catchers.

I also understand the argument of wanting to pinch run in that situation.. Perhaps Perez would have scored,but Brookens was still at fault as well.. Gordon had the ball before Fielder got to 3rd.. Finally, the hit was a borderline double, not a sure gapper, so most players on the Tigers not named Jackson, Iglesius or Perez would have not scored...

Vmart and Dirks have to take some of the blame for not getting Fielder over to second.

Vmart had an awful at bat, but I honestly didn't expect jack out of Dirks...

I blame Leyland and Leyland only. Can't miss Fielder batting in extra innings when we lose in nine. I don't blame Brookens either. Leaving it up to Bryan Pena(he was out to pinch hit) with two outs and two on isn't less of a risk than sending Princey with a full head of steam, IMO. But it's also my opinion that Leyland basically gave up when he brought New Mexicos sorry ass in earlier. Frozen rope to Dirks right out of the gate.... Ugh... In sick of watching us not score against KC. That's three games in three weeks I've paid to see nothin', nada, zip, zilch......

After the game JL again restated that unless injured he will not ever pinch run for prince or miggy. Reason # 1 as to why this team is 16-22 in one run games and has been shutout 10 times.

A's 29-19 in one run games
Sox 21-18 in one run games

why risk injury to fielder??? you knew he would have to run hard to score.
see how he slides? yikes! PR and if we lose his bat in extras..so what! this game don't mean squat
. that was the kind of play we could have lost prince to injury for the post season. dam that Leyland has to go

you can tell he never learned to slide. not that we need him to...unless you have the division locked up and your manager puts in a postion like he did tonight..
