Keeping my fingers crossed that Iglesias does a decent job of hitting the last
two months, so Detroit can stay away from reactivating Peralta for the playoffs.
My hope is that, if Detroit goes to the World Series, the 'stink' of Peralta
will not be a big story. Yes he admitted his mistake...but he let down the team
and should not awarded a post-season appearance

I'd have to agree. I think having Jhonny back for the playoffs would be an unneeded distraction. Melky Cabrera was eligible to come back to the Giants in the NLCS last season, but Bochy chose not to add him. I think it was the right move.

Li'l Al is hitting .256 since coming back from the DL on July 2, and has three game-winning HR over that span. I think he also has something like 24 of his 36 RBI since then.

It was also noted that they belonged to ACES management/Agent. I think thats the spelling I heard them talking about that on the radio yesterday.

That was a devastating loss for the Indians. If they can't rebound quickly it could be the turning point in this race.

You can take all the PED's/roids whatever, but you still have to have the eye to hit the ball. There is no drug for contact. You can be the strongest man in the game, but you still have to make contact. IMO...

I would welcome jhonny back unless iggy is killing the ball.....he got caught(how many others dont?)....hes doing his time......bring him back for the miami series and let the media get it out....were gonna need his bat in the playoffs....whether he starts or PH's......now if nicky c comes up and tears the cover off.....like garcia last year, maybe nicky c gets left on the roster to PH. Then its bubeye jhonny. But i say, hes being punished....once he serves his time, its time to move on.....nobody knows who uses and who doesnt.

Last post discussing the filth of a post by kengel and i am moving on... I grew up in n michigan... And moved to miami 10 yrs ago... Its funny to watch midwestern vacationers come here knowing what miami is, and purposefully travelling to parts of miami like little havana as a tourist... Then complaining when people there dont speak good english... If you dont like it... Why go bother some group of people where they live who are not bothering you? Its pretty funny to watch really... And then when the white tourists see me they assume i want to hear them bash the people for not speaking good english... I would bet kengel would be one of those guys.

Hoping for "good" JV tonight. This season, he's been our "box of chocolates"...never know what we're gonna get. He's had 9 games in which he gave up 1 or zero runs, but 6 games in which he's given up 5 or more.
