How many WHITE Americans have been given suspensions in baseball? It's a lopsided ratio in comparison to Hispanics. Can't speak for Kengel, but I find the racial breakdown puzzling at best.

So you think their is an 8/1 Latino to white ratio in baseball? I think baseball suspends brown guys who are catholic and speak Spanish, while they let white guys slide. And I don't support it. Braun gets 65 and Arod gets 211.... That's not right.

Bronco... I get what you saying now.. I took your post the wrong way... I say we move on.. I am touchy on the subject of white people bashing on Hispanics, from living in Miami and the fact that.. I am white.. and I am married to a Brazilian, and my daughter has light brown skin like her mom... she speaks english, portugese and spanish.. and when I come back up to michigan, people think she is mexican.. it drives me nuts... i have tried to explain how insulting that is to people not from mexico to be called mexican.. but most mid westerners don't get it. If you are not white, or black... and you can speak spanish, you must be from miexico... To many small towns and not enough time spent outside of them. (The jeeeerbs thing is from south park... its a rip on all the white people that think mexicans are taking all their jobs... funny episode)

I don't see peralta making the playoff roster unless something happens to a guy like infante or santiago... only so many spots... and peralta is not going to take one from iglesias or santiago. I feel like they should just move on.. dfa him.. and put nicky c on the 40 man so he can come up when rosters expand in sept and get a cup of coffee in the majors this year.

I think dotel is on the 40 man already... 60 dl but already on it... could be wrong with the way the rules work... As for dead weight.. the only two guys that would not get claimed if dropped from the 40 man are crosby and worth.. and I think someone might even snatch crosby because he is still only 24 and could become a decent lefty reliever.. has the stuff. just no control... My first person I would drop from the 40 man though is worth... he is 28.. has shown to be nothing more than a santiago at best... and has no more options left once recalled... I say cut that turd if someone needs to get taken off.

Hoping for "good" JV tonight. This season, he's been our "box of chocolates"...never know what we're gonna get. He's had 9 games in which he gave up 1 or zero runs, but 6 games in which he's given up 5 or more.

I agree....either pretty good, or pretty bad.....i think JV might be a little more focused tonight....he hasnt pitched well lately vs cleveland, and if i remember right.....hes the only guy to lose in the last 13 games. .....lets just hope by him being more focused he doesnt over pitch and over think.
