when i watch marlins games.. i basically just leave the sound on for background noise... I feel bad for them.. they had the job of selling to the fans what the team was trying to do.. when everyone was pissed at Loria... Now.. people can start to see what Loria was doing.. not saying he was right to sell after saying he would spend on the team.. but he was right to get rid of the guys he did.. and got better young talent back that reloaded them for a run... Marlins announcers haven't had a lot of reasons to be hyped up.. so they are not. Sad thing is I am one of the few marlins supporters around here.. and I am a tigers fan. I try to get my friends to take their kids up to the games and get them into the team and game.. have to fight these people.. but I had to do the same thing with the Heat before Lebron, now they are "Huge Heat fans"... I am not a Heat fan.. never was.. but I live here and had season tickets to both the Heat and Marlins at one point so that I could enjoy going to games.. I feel strongly that people in a city need to support their team... My daughter will be a tigers fan.. but I will surely be taking her to marlins games and try to give her pride in the city she was born in like my parents did. If she turns out to be a bigger Miami fan than Detroit.... so be it...

Thats it too.....on the marlins game its like a hum of silence....the announcers dont really talk much....you can literally hear certain fans yelling stuff. .....echoing threw the stadium.....they do have jose fernendez tho....hes a stud.

Ive taken my 5 yr old daughter to one white sox game....she loves the tigers tho....since my parents are big tiger fans, she loves them.....but when my father in law is around, hes a big sox fan....she tries not to hurt his feelings. The one game she went to, she wore her pink tigers hat to a sox/mariner game. But she cheered for the sox since her daddad was with us...she does like the cubs though, just not like the tigers.....she knows 2 players. Prince and ajax.

Infante to begin rehab tomorrow with toledo in Columbus

Great news. Lets hope theres no set back. Getting him back will be huge, now that we lost jhonny....im excited to see infante and iggy up the middle....alot better than last year of jhonny and raturd. Add ajax into that and the tigers are strong up the middle defensively. Gold glove contenders for years to come iggy and ajax....nice.

Funny how some go from one side of the fence to the other in a heart beat....

Looking at the bright side.. tigers get a good look at perez and inglesias playing together.. and see if its something they like moving forward... kind of like an audition for both.. inglesias gets 50 games to showcase.. and perez gets another week or so to keep the positive audition going.

Its funny how inflated trouts stats were last year. but the media and fans thought he was a lock to hit .400 this year and win BA titles... but inglesias hits .323 over a season at the age of 23 and people say its a fluke.. I get it.. his minor league numbers are not great.. but he is 23 and can still make adjustments and become a decent hitter.. not .320 but decent... and he hit .320 in the top cuban league at the age of 18.. the same league pitchers like chapman and miguel alfredo gonzalez came from.. and hitters like cespedes and puig were at. Not a slouch league.

I never liked Peralta at short, he's not what I want from that position,(Iggy might be exactly what I want) regardless of offensive production. But I definitely don't have any ill will towards him for juicing. I don't have ill will towards any known juicer, so long as they admit and own up to it. Not That I condone the use of PEDs, but they don't bother me nearly as much as a shortstop with no range or a catcher with slow feet.

I agree.. I could really care less about people that roid.. the shear fact is that many people do it.. its not 1 guy... and back in the day.. everyone was doing it... Peralta has had two good years with det.. seriously.. out of ten years.. this is the first one over .300... and is a career .268 hitter... aside from HR power... which is not needed out of a ss... peralta is really not that much better of a hitter than iglesias projects to be. I take a slap hitter that hits .280 at ss and 2nd if they play great d. Just get on base.. that is all I ask.

I'd be fine with Sweet Iggy being a .240 hitter. So long as he does his job in the field. Making our pitching staff that much better in the process. Jhonnys offensive production was always a bit over blown to me. Bottom half of the order hitter. Never elevated up when key hitters were missing. (DK hit third yesterday) He's a quality hitter, but at one of two spots where hitting SHOULD be secondary to defense.

The game should be as clean as they can get it.....

I hear ya burf. And I agree with you. There's just not much animosity from me towards guys for doing what they can to be better players, return from injury, get big money or what have you.

Why did I take the over ????

Idk!?! I thought about the under, but just went with The Tigers straight up. I was surprised we were favored. And that I picked up Michael Brantley for Evereth Cabrera this morning. I'm gonna miss those sb's...

Man, we really need to tie this up. I don't want to bitch at Torii, Ramon and AJax for screwing us tonight with bad base running. Cuz, as of now, they did.

Yes. It didn't even look like he swung hard. I thought it was a routine fly. He must have caught it on the screws.
