They tried to drug her, but she escaped, so they went to her place and gang raped her?

Who said they will sway me? My mind was already made up when I read the story and it sounds fishy. Really, I wanted to catch up on the thread, on the politics board, about the shooting today. My plan was to return to this thread after I finished over there.

Anyway, I don't need evidence and facts, to determine if someone's story pass the smell test. I only need evidence and facts when im making the opinion if she is lying on telling the truth.

Her story sounds suspicious right now.

Well someone is a completely messed up person. Either Rose or the girl.

I don't think its fair to lean towards one side or the other at this point. Her accusations should be treated seriously and Rose deserves some level of presumption of innocence until evidence comes to light.

In a weird way, the strange specifics of her story make it sound more believable to me.

Also, just because someone tries to profit from an alledged wrong done to them (not saying its ethical or admirable)... doesn't mean a crime didn't happen.

Not suspect at all, IMO. For most serious crimes, it is an automatic response to go straight to the cops. For victims of sexual attacks... that is not the case. In fact, most don't go to the cops right away, if at all.

For a r*pe victim, I'm not pyschologist or anything near, but I would assume a trigger would be to seek justice - not money. I haven't read up on the whole story, because right off the bat this doesn't seem right. I don't understand how you don't immediately go to the cops but decide to bring this up 2 years later. All of the physical evidence is gone. How is she supposed to win this case?
