NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports DeAndre Hopkins will visit the Patriots.

Hopkins is taking his sweet time in choosing his next team after parting ways with the Cardinals last month. The 31-year-old receiver reportedly has a "strong" chance of landing with his former QB Deshaun Watson in Cleveland. He's also been linked to the Titans, Bills, and Chiefs. In New England, Hopkins could undoubtedly continue his target-dominating ways in an offense lacking pass-catching depth. The Patriots might be his best fantasy-related landing spot based on target volume, as he would not have a dominant WR1 role in Buffalo or Kansas City.

Just my opinion but this is likely Bill trying to drive his cost up for other teams, especially considering he keeps getting linked to AFC teams.

Good morning sleepyheads.

Deandre Hopkins will be visiting the Tennessee Titans today. He's scheduled to be visiting Foxboro tomorrow.

Alert, Alert, Alert.

Adam Shefter has reported that his contacts in the Titans front office have told him that the Titans will not allow Hopkins to leave unless he signs a contract. How many times has that been said?

Patriots have a three day minicamp Monday thru Wednesday. Full pads and contact.

Might just be the perfect time to suit up DHop and test him against Christian Gonzalez and test Gonzalez against DHOP. Perfect way to gauge both players.

1. Will not let him leave without a contract! Yeah I am sure that makes zero difference to DHOP.

2. Why would DHOP suit up if not under contract with team, makes no sense. People get hurt in practice all the time why risk it?

Been listening to a bunch of legal beagles on the boob tube.

To a man, they all believe that no matter how Jack Jones pleads, the very least he'll get is 2-1./2 year in federal prison.

There is a way out. He needs to find a stooge who is willing to go to prison for him and will testify the he, no JJ actually packed the wrong bag and never realized it was JJ's and that he's totally innocent. How many guys are willing to give up two or three years of their life, regardless of how much money he gets paid? Conviction of a felony and you lose a shitload of your rights. Can't vote. Can't get a passport. If your life sucks and you have no future, the two and a half in the pen and a couple mil waiting for you when you get out, might not be a bad option.

Knowing all o this, what do you think the biggest problem facing the Patriots is today?

1. Cornerback
2. Wide Receiver
3. Left Tackle

I can't agree with your assessment of team needs.

1. Left Tackle
2. CB
3. WR

The front 7 on D could be special that will in part offset needing another CB IMO.

$3.5 Mil.

After taxes and up front so call it a $5 mil sign on bonus and I'll do it.

I'd do it for two million. But Jack Jones doesn't have two million.

There seems to be this common misconception that all pro athletes are rich as fuck.

Was working on rookie contract - not a lot.
He'll have to spend all he has on attorneys now. Attorneys will shed a tear for him.
If he spends 2.5 years in jail, he'll still be young.
Could he get a job in one of the other leagues?
