That wasn't even a possibility after trading for Jimmy G.

As far as Cousins goes, you need to look a little deeper. He can't possibly be worse if he has even decent blocking. The OL looked a lot better last year because Keenum could move.

Worst case scenario, he keeps sucking and we're flushing the toilet after year 3. That's why I didn't hate the move, it's not 5 or 6 years, it's 3.
