It's worked well for Revis.Revis has basically become a rent-a-player for $20mil per...Too rich for the Steelers, but I'd like to have him.
Yep. He'll be in the 10 to 12M range for another team. He's not getting $20M annually. Never was going to.
He signed a 1 year deal for $12M last year with NE. This 2nd year existed only so the Pat's could spread out the cap hit to this year and it was $20M because both sides wanted to force a re-negotiations because they couldn't agree to a reasonable 2nd year price.
He'll get something close to that $12M annually in this next deal only it will almost certainly be a longer deal with a lot more guaranteed money in it.
I'm thinking more like $10 million a year. The island isn't as remote as it once was.

Don't know how you can say that. He shut down the vast majority of the league this year and was in the playoffs before his first PI call. Had a few holdings all year. That's amazing.
This one's a tough loss for the Pats. I said many times before that the Pats weren't going to win a SB without a stout D. It's was true.
We'll just have to see what B.B.'s got up his sleeve.
Kind of odd that a guy as talented as him could end up on his 4th team in 4 years.
yes he did but revis , davis and toler as a back up would look good for the colts . but we need a bob sanders player at safety just skip the injury bug please .He showed signs of decline this past season.
