Have to imagine the Jets will be the frontrunner for his services. He's familiar with the team, stays in the Northeast, they have the caproom and the need as well as a defensive minded coach.

Revis has basically become a rent-a-player for $20mil per...Too rich for the Steelers, but I'd like to have him.

Wouldn't mind seeing the Eagles go after him. Seemed like they wanted Maxwell and Jackson. So might as well take a shot at Revis. Need another black player to get Chips street cred up SAS. :stephena:

I'm thinking more like $10 million a year. The island isn't as remote as it once was.

He's not getting $20M annually. Never was going to.

He signed a 1 year deal for $12M last year with NE. This 2nd year existed only so the Pat's could spread out the cap hit to this year and it was $20M because both sides wanted to force a re-negotiations because they couldn't agree to a reasonable 2nd year price.

He'll get something close to that $12M annually in this next deal only it will almost certainly be a longer deal with a lot more guaranteed money in it.

:agree: Yep. He'll be in the 10 to 12M range for another team.

The Raiders could give him the huge contract he desires.

Don't know how you can say that. He shut down the vast majority of the league this year and was in the playoffs before his first PI call. Had a few holdings all year. That's amazing.

This one's a tough loss for the Pats. I said many times before that the Pats weren't going to win a SB without a stout D. It's was true.

We'll just have to see what B.B.'s got up his sleeve.

Kind of odd that a guy as talented as him could end up on his 4th team in 4 years.

There's still a good chance he'll be back with the Patriots although once people hit free agency anything can happen.

He'll certainly get more than 10 million a year.

Damn he would look fine in our disastrous secondary. Revis, Maxwell, and Jenkins looks that much better. Sign him Chip. End this circus act quickly.

if suh is a fin they will have the best d in the afc east no matter what revis does .

He showed signs of decline this past season.
yes he did but revis , davis and toler as a back up would look good for the colts . but we need a bob sanders player at safety just skip the injury bug please .

This is true...for some reason I thought he was near $20 per in TB...most GMs would expect to have both CBs under contract for that kind of cash.

Who's out there to replace revis with? No one....it's definitely a loss for the pats if they can't keep him and with little to no cap room how can they? McCourty cost them huge I don't think that they were expecting that...
