Defense finally stepped up and Monte to the rescue. I do not know what that guy has to do to draw a foul. He should have been to the line more on those drives. Of course he may have missed them but still call the foul. They would call us for ticky tacky garbage and then clear body shots were nothing. Even missed the obvious foul in the back of Chander Parsons when he was trying to grab a rebound.

The Spurs always find a way to be competitive. I seriously didn't care at all that their top 4 were out. It would've been an easier game if their old asses were out there (besides Kawhi). I am glad that Danny Green didn't play. I thought it was a gutsy win. Dirk couldn't shoot tonight. Good thing Monta is the man late in the game. The refs were sure trying to give this one to the Spurs. Every time they drove the lane they went to the line.

The baskets will get easier and easier once Monta and Parsons start slashing to the basket with Rondo finding them. The offense was slow tonight, as expected.

Yeah he has huge impact on the game. I was thinking of what a rondo, curry, klay lineup at times.... That would of been a thing of beauty

I saw that earlier and called to check the line and Dallas was minus 11 points. I told the guy next to me, thats a sucker bet. 11 points is a ton in this kind of game and this being Rondo's first game in a Mavs uni and all, we should put $500 on the Spurs. It worked out

If you ask a lot out of him then yes it's probably not a great thing but he's not a bad player and if Dallas were to get him he'd be playing for a top 2 or 3 coach. Plus he'd be coming to a already stacked team where he's not expected to do a ton.

That would be the drawback in his mind I imagine however that he wants to be a starter and play a ton of minutes wherever he lands next.
