All of them reported it.

Shams Charania, Joe Vardon and Jason Lloyd of The Athletic reported some teammates and coaches felt Allen "could have done more to try and play" with his rib injury. In particular, there was confusion over the big man's refusal to have an injection to numb the pain.
and as I kind of just mentioned to shane my guess on what really happened is maybe someone said an injection was mentioned, but he never had it. No biggie. also my guess is he was hurt a lot worse than they let on and was never going to play. Granted we don't know what goes on but sure seemed like Allen was a teammate they all loved and cannot come up with who might have said this (at least in a way they were trying to rile up the masses which of course worked).

I like Keldon.

Not sure how you feel about these guys...

But, Jerami Grant, Kuzma would be other options.

Darius would have to be redirected if it was Portland.

Scoot, Simons, Brogdon and Garland are two point guards/scoring guards to many.

Dunno if you listen to podcasts.

But some seem to think you can get a pretty decent haul for the kid.

Not sure I want Kuzma. Grant is intriguing. Definitely need a wing without a doubt

"Need"? Probably....but this team was really good when fully healthy or, as mentioned, at least when Mitchell and Allen played. Trying a big lineup again with Wade at SF could work. But, sure, would prefer a better option than him.

This isn't a Kawhi sandbagging type situation.

If the guy is hurt, he's hurt.

Nobody should try to dictate this man's pain threshold.

If it were the NBA finals, maybe he gives it a go.

Depending on the injury, getting those numbing injections can actually cause you to make the ailment worse.

His body is his lively hood.

Midget Isiah Thomas is a prime example of a guy messing up his bag because he tried to play through injury.

He, nor his bank account, ever recovered.

Yes they NEED a wing. Depends on the player but a wing can take this team to the next level imo. Of course healthy players help too lol

What's your Cap look like?

You aren't a 2nd apron team, right?

If you can't get Mikal, how about Miles?
What does Miles want? Not enough for a $16-$20M contract to add without a trade

Claxton fits their timeline.

But, Capela would probably be easier to acquire, unless they throw a ridiculous bag at Nic, and Brooklyn doesn't want to get into a bidding war.

But the guy I would love to see them snatch?

Isiah Hartenstein.

He's only 26 and does a little bit of everything.
Pretty sure Ike is gonna stay with the Knicks.

My guess is it's rare for teammates to question how hurt guys are.....that's for the fake athletes to do. Can never be sure how true reports are but had also heard - as you kind of alluded - if he got hit in the wrong spot he could have major issues (beyond injury issue) and masking the pain might be a problem if that is true.

After everything he had heard last year - then again, he may not care but if he does... - the guy was arguably our best player in games 1-4 vs. Orlando. Doubt he just shut it down when a simple shot allowed him to play.

I mean I'm never opposed to adding a better player but at the very least think we could have made the Cs series interesting if we were healthy.....and this is year 2 with Mitchell while Brown/tatum been together since Lebron was still here.

Guess all I'm really saying is I'm not making a move just to make one (especially if it means dealing a good to really good player). But adding a better player? absolutely.

I was thinking trade, depending on your cap.

If you are a 2nd apron team, you can't do a sign and trade....I think?

The Bees are 3 years away from being 4 years away.

So, they need to give Brandon Miller all the minutes they can.

He and Miles are both like 6'7 ish on a good day.

I guess they could play them together.

But, who knows.

I agree with the better player upgrade. Not opposed to trading for a better fit and wash talent wise too

I wanted Miles last year. A nice fit. Maybe a trade they use picks and role players. I don’t know how Charlotte values Bridges..

Not sure he is cooked. Likely just a bad fit

14/5/5 on 47% shooting from the field and 36 % shooting from 3 in 25 games with Charlotte this season
Fair...

Let me rephrase...

He's always hurt and is severely overpaid.

It's like the Westbrook situation.

A fucking albatross for the Lakers @ 44 mil.

Loved the pickup for the Clipps at the vet minimum.

Yep I'll take Gordon on Miami on a low risk deal as a 8th or 9th man knowing he is soft and going to miss at least 30 games

absolutely to that, too. If we can acquire a SF they think makes us better than Garland does then have at it.....and I hope they agree with that. Hell, I hope they are willing to move anyone in a deal that makes us better.
