This is exactly the game I would rest him. They are deep enough to beat Philly without him.

I would agree with you any other time but not for this particular game. Philly is dying for a win and I'd hate to rest my best player against a team that still hasn't won a game yet. Even this game was starting to get pretty uncomfortable because they were pretty neck and neck the whole game until Dallas finally pulled away at the end.

I couldn't care less about them being hungry for a win. Rick made the right call. A game in November isn't that important. Games in April-June are.

Agree. Dirk was not looking good lately and rest was the right thing to do and at the right time.

Have you all noticed that Brandon Wright has done his usual disappearing acts the last few games. Love the guys athleticism but I just wish he was more consistent. Carlisle had to keep taking him out and play Chandler more against Philly because he was so ineffective.

Derrick Rose just hit an absolute prayer of a 3-pointer at the buzzer in overtime to send it double OT. He banked it on off the backboard. I'm sure he called glass.

Give me a break.

Luckily he came back to reality in the 2nd OT.

Monta was great in the 4th and that game winner was fucking sick. Another great road win without Dirk nonetheless. SWWWEEEEEET!

There was no way I thought Ellis was making that shot. Couldn't hit anything outside then went crazy in the 4th. Good to see Nelson come through with some 3's. No way I thought they were winning this game the way things were going.

This may be the best Chandler has ever played. 18 pts/20 boards tonight.

Shooting 27% at one point for the 4th quarter, I said they picked a bad quarter to go cold. Then they went on the 10-1 run and made the Bucks have to match and then had he last shot. It was a one leg fade away with hands all in his face, never imagined it was gonna go in when he let it go. Halfway to the basket though I was like hell that's going in. WOW!

RC was saying the other night how much better of a player he has become since he departed for the Knicks and it's showing up almost every night now

Monta definitely traveled, but I don't give a shit. That was awesome. Even better that it was in Mayo's face.
