They lined up to spike it and he lined up behind the Guard and couldn't snap the ball. Wow!
That may be, but the ref didn't move to set the ball in time for any snap to get off. The WR had a chance to get out of bounds, and cut back inside, getting tackled with 7 seconds left. By the time the offense ran up to where the ball was to be spotted, and the Ref set it down for play, the clock hit 00:00. More on the WR than Dak.They lined up to spike it and he lined up behind the Guard and couldn't snap the ball. Wow!
Wrong Williams lost the game being a fucking idiot
They lined up to spike it and he lined up behind the Guard and couldn't snap the ball. Wow!
Everyone is saying that but if he ran out right where he caught it, it would have been like a 67 yard FG attempt. They had time and we're set but Dak lined up behind the guard. Go watch it again it cost them over a second and that's all they needed.
He didn't lose it, Williams not going out of bounds lost it.
Dak lined up behind the Guard with time left. IF Williams ran out its a 67 yard FG attempt
Was this before or after Williams play, the lining up under the guard?
Right after Williams catch. The team is lined up and set with 2 seconds left to spike it and Dak has his hands under the guards legs waiting for the snap... then runs over to his center. If he lined up under Center Dallas has time to spike it. Everyone, including the announcers missed it.
You do realize if Williams goes out of bounds, the clock stops. Meaning, Dak wouldn't have had to try to spike it in a hurry. So Williams lost this game.
Dak played great IMO.
what's the difference? so if he gets up to spike it.. it's the same super long FG attempt. elliott was stuffed big time all game and dak was just "ok" against the giants defense. their defense couldn't stop the giants at the end. the cowboys, as a team, lost that game.
That loss was all on Williams
Completely wrong . Williams ran down field putting them in FG range. If he ran sideways out of bounds and not forward he loses all the yards he picked up. You can't have both bro.
