Just think of all of the money the Bulls has thrown away on this guy and yet they refused to give Phil Jackson more money and keep a six time championship together for another run over considerably less money. Yes I know that is ancient history but I still think of it as justice

if thats the case what do you think of Jimmy Buss not offering the job to Phil just a couple years ago?

I have a feeling it might be 8 weeks for him. No way he comes back in 4. i would be shocked. The only good thing is he was able to walk on it after surgery. Will start running next week.

Bottom line is, this guy is not going to be playing a very long career. His body just will not hold up. I put part of the blame on Chicago for babying him the past 2.5 seasons. I do not care how much weight lifting and agility drills you do in the offseason. Being in game shape is more important and I feel the lack of this has resulted in more injuries.

At this point, this guy makes a lot of money and if the Doctors clear him within the 4-6 week window, I better see him on the basketball court come playoff time.

He needs to play at least 5 games in the regular season to be ready for playoffs. I don't see Bulls throwing him into the playoffs. It wasn't the bulls that baby him. It was him and his group. Doctors cleared him and he just didn't want to come back because he wasn't mentally ready. This injury has nothing to do with what the Bulls did. He should of did this surgery in the 1st place. Doctors told it would happen again but out side shot that he wouldn't need it again. Now with this injury I say he has about 2-3 good years left and 2 years after. I put him in a 5 year window and he will be done with the NBA. He will miss a lot of games like Wade each season. Bulls should not play him in back to back games.

NBA Network is saying Rose is ready for full-contact practice but if there was no pain days after surgery, and there is no meniscus to damage further, what is preventing him from playing sooner? I need more details. What's the over/under on how many games he plays before his next serious injury?
