Barrows (or Branch) tweeted that Marecic hasn't really done anything on offense of special teams and has been pretty much a non-factor across the board. This move just seems really stupid to me, seems like a favoritism move more than anything else. This doesn't seem to be what is best for the team.

I'm not really seeing a trade. My two thoughts are for--

1 - A Iupati extension is coming

2- they are doing this to carry money over into next season where they could extend and resign the many players we'll have up to do so

Me too. At times, I thought he sucked but he's been improving and absolutely love his team spirit and fire.

He's grown on me too and seems to have matured a lot, also can fill in on a ton of roles.

They've actually said that this is Harbs' all time favorite players. Those others can't really compare. WE have no idea if Harbaugh liked, loved or hated those players.
