The Giants got 2 rings in his tenure. If we are now guaranteed 2 rings in the next 6 years, I am happy with this deal.

I foretold in one of the threads (?rosterbation?) a long time ago that Sanchez would be let go this off-season to make room on the 40-man. No great loss. We have both Susac and Trevor Brown ahead of him, and he was arb-eligible. Both Susac and Brown are cheap, and better. One thing I do have to admit - even though he wasn't much offensively, it seemed that he got most of his (few) hits at absolute KEY times; he was *clutch*. I think I'd have to take off my shoes to count the number of times a hit of his either tied the game or ended up being THE go-ahead run (either RBI or run scored) - and this while hitting a measly .179 in 2015 and .196 the year before.

Anyhow, hope he does well and enjoys his 2 WS rings. (hey WS = World Series, AND White Sox!)

All those guys qualify as good Giants. I think JCP can be a decent 4 in the majors. Maybe even develop into a nice 3.
