Thanks cal. I only mentioned Perez because I noticed you had Noonan, Williams and Bochy listed at the bottom.Updated for Sanchez and Petit.
I also moved Gearin from the Arb-eligible to the actual 40-man. Cots had him as being arb eligible, so I am not sure what is accurate for him.
I am not listing minor league FAs because there are just too many of those. JCP was already DFA'd, so he already did his "exit" from the 40-man.

So was he non-tendered?Gearrin (note the two Rs) has 2.136 of service time, and will thus be arb-eligible. He was optioned in 2011, 12, 13, so has no options left.

When was JCP DFA'd? Before the end of the season, or after?
So he was DFA'd; cleared; THEN was declared a FA whereas the others went directly from the 40 to FA.
I thought that, typically, only arbitration eligible players are tendered or non-tendered. Guys not yet arbitration eligible simply get their contracts renewed around February. I know that is probably not completely right because I've seen guys who are on the 40 man roster who have never played in the big leagues get non-tendered (and those seem the weirdest off season transactions I've seen). So was he non-tendered?
Everything this off season I have heard referenced our "4 arb-eligible players".
I don't really like ESPN's transaction information. They are usually incomplete. I prefer MLB's - Transactions However, the information below seems to contradict, somewhat, ESPN's.

According to MLB, both Bochy and Perez were outrighted - Bochy on 10/15/15 and Perez on 11/6/15. However, MLB ceases to track transactions past the outright assignment. That's when I turn to Baseball America - Transactions Archives - BaseballAmerica.com. Bochy elected free agency between 10/17 and 10/23. They only show that Perez was declared a free agent sometime after his assignment.
What I don't understand, and what I'm sure the estimable Marco can explain, is how ESPN tracks Perez as being cleared waivers on 11/6 when MLB shows he was outrighted on 11/6. I would assume that there is a difference (this area still puzzles me after 25+ years of following baseball). And yes Marco, I assume you have explained the difference before. Can I suggest that you take the information you've shared with us and create a separate thread that could be stickied?
Thanks Stokes! I appreciate it.
