It looks like Pollock is on the IL. Diaz was called up as well.
Not sure you need to make that determination in SF. Sac is probably just fine for Heliot. At least we know Pollock CAN play in the majors. If we just give up someone like Aldrete, then fine. Who cares. Deck chair rearrangement.
But I think I might prefer to take a “final” look at Ramos. He is doing well in Sacto atm. Is he salvageable at all?

Kinda sucks we won't be seeing Brebbia back this year it seems?Brebbia transferred from the 15 to the 60
Yaz added to the 10
Mathias added to the 40
Pollock added to the 26 and 40 (not sure how this is possible seeing as he was added to the 10-day on the 22nd…)
Apparently we had an open 40 spot already.
For YOU, maybe.Kinda sucks we won't be seeing Brebbia back this year it seems?
LOL I get it but for real, is he out for the year? For YOU, maybe.
I keed, I keed
Not necessarily. He's on the 60 day, and he's scheduled to throw a bullpen this weekend. He last pitched 6.16 so by my calculations he can come back in two weeks.LOL I get it but for real, is he out for the year?
I have no idea. I didn’t even know he was hurt when he went to the 15. Then he was moved to the 60, with no info given about his situation.LOL I get it but for real, is he out for the year?
I don’t see any of this anywhere…Hjelle up; Cobb sick.
I wish I could like my own post. I am sooooo happy to see Schmitt sent down. I REALLY like Schmitt (despite my nic of “Chasey” for him), but he has needed to be sent down for quite a while now. He has been on his heels since about his 2nd or 3rd week up.Mathias up
Schmitt down
Yeah he's needed a break for a while but injuries didn't allow itI wish I could like my own post. I am sooooo happy to see Schmitt sent down. Still think they should have given Fitzgerald a shot. Is Mathias really better than him? I guess we'll see what Mathias can provide.Yeah he's needed a break for a while but injuries didn't allow it
I have heard good things about Fitz, but none of us really know anything about him. Using a disposable asset like Mathias is a good idea to protect our control over Fitz for as long as possible.Still think they should have given Fitzgerald a shot. Is Mathias really better than him? That explains why Gonzalez disappeared from the roster the other day. Wonder why Pollock wasn't let go instead?Gonzalez activated from the 60 and optioned to Sacto
Diaz DFA’d and immediately claimed by Detroit (which tells me he was actually DFA’d when he was “optioned” a few days ago)
I wonder if part of that is because teams try to sneak players through, so there isn’t any central reporting system in place. That explains why Gonzalez disappeared from the roster the other day. Wonder why Pollock wasn't let go instead?
It sure would be nice if MLB reported DFAs more timely.
