Yeah but with the game on the line I don't think you call something that soft

You kinda have to when its so obvious and right in front of your face. This wasn't some not so obvious holding penalty on a WR. This was a clear blow to head in front of the refs face.

I'm amazed at how Dak has become a mature professional almost the second he got drafted. Like a fuckin polar opposite of manziel

Man, the Vikings got cheated out of that missed penalty call from the Cowboys. That pissed me off because that's clearly a face mask on the defense and the refs missed it. Unbelievable! I feel bad for the Vikings fans that they got screwed out of that deal.

Honestly, the hands to the face probably made that throw 5 rows deep instead of only 4.

I agree with that but you can't say its not a penalty.

It was a penalty, but just like a pass interference or a foul in the NBA, the refs are not calling it at the end of a game.

The way i saw it, the ref (I assume) who had responsibility to watch the backfield was behind the QB and to his right. The rusher launched and as his left arm came down it brushed the side of the QB's helmet and landed squarely on the top of the QB's shoulder pad. The ref was shielded from seeing the rushers right arm and hand as hands to the face was apparent. Solid play by the defender to ruin the play and hide his move.
The ref couldn't see the right arm coming in.
The human factor applies.

So as a coach are you telling your D-Line to drill the QB in the head on the final play of the game

LMAO yeah you're right. I def don't think it made the difference on that throw. That false start absolutely killed that 2 point try

Bro, lets not act shocked that the refs swallow their whistle most of the time at the end of games. I agree it was a penalty, but it isn't anything new with the refs. Plus, Im not going to go crazy because I give the benefit of a doubt, because he was behind the QB.

His LT went early anyhow, so if the refs are going to call everything then they need to call that.

Yeah I saw that false start that they missed.

So the hands to the face wouldn't be called if Dick Eisen's pussy-aching after the game gets made a rule and penalties are reviewable, because the play would have been dead and moved back 5 more yards.

bad thing is that 5 yards back and that pass from Sam is in the field of play.

there was a few shit calls on the cowboys tonight so can't complain about the last play. Vikes inability to score touchdowns has been killing em all year. Cowboys ultra conservative play calling almost cost em this game

There were some huge calls against Dallas. The hands to the face should have been called, but it's obvious the ref saw the hit on the shoulder and was shielded on the hit to the facemask. IMO, Bradford needs to grow a pair and stand in and make a throw instead if being left to cry for a flag.

It was clearly a blown call but the fact that touching the QB's helmet is a foul in the first place is fucking retarded. I'd rather see them blow a call on a ridiculous rule than enforce it in that kind of a situation.
