Giants have talent on their team but they're kinda soft on offense. Can't run. Can't make the big catches. Jones had all day to throw there a few times and came away with nothing.

if you must
:sorry:

Don't be sorry, I just watched a team that doesn't tackle well on D and kind of went through the motions. Hence my thoughts

LOL
and to think, that was one of their better games. :martini:

sucks in Dallas.
Pittsburgh, Detroit, and SF are the next three.
2-5 looks most likely based on what they've shown. :poke:

They could turn it around, but not if they put in the effort that I saw tonight. It's not all of them, but they have plenty of guys that are making business decisions and those business decisions will cost them a job. That's the way the NFL works, you go all out or you go home. We'll see what happens, but I've seen this before with McCarthy's teams. They usually get something worked out and guys step up to lead, so we'll see if that happens

I think Micah should shut it down until he signs with the Eagles as a free agent at this point. No need to risk further injury Micah, put it on ice.

Yeah, they aren't awful but they need some kind of running game. Not sure why they thought Singletary was any good. Keep drafting RBs in the 5th and 6th and probably find someone serviceable, at least. The good news is their O-line is better than it has been for some time. DJ is just not it. He played a solid game of ball control but for some reason, he can't throw the deep ball for shit. His first couple of years, that was the one thing he could hang his hat on and it has completely vanished. He underthrows guys by 10 yards now.
Top 5 or so pick might be coming. Fire the GM, keep Daboll and maybe get him Ewers or Beck to work with and they might be able to become respectable. Also get someone opposite Nabors to step up. Slayton isn't consistent enough. Get a QB, another big WR, some players on the back end of the defense and any semblance of a running game and the Gmen could turn the corner.
Probably the worst thing that happened to the Giants was that somewhat fugazi record in 2022 and winning the WC game in Minny. It blinded them into thinking they were close to being good when they weren't really close and needed to start the reset. They paid Jones out of that without really thinking it through and that set them back 3-4 years, imo. They can get out of that with drafting a QB and eating about 22 mil in dead cap by releasing Jones. Can't really see them having 40+ mil cap hit keeping Jones at this point when he isn't going to help them get better and was never Daboll's guy to begin with.

Nabers could really be a good one .....

if he didn't have Daniel Noodle Arm as his QB.

I'm predicting 3-4. Dallas likes to have the odd game where they look like world beaters, only to drag ass again the next week.

The Giants run blocking is not very good.
