With this mixture of talent and baggage, no way this end with a mediocre result.

It's Chernobyl or Championships.

My only issue is we have seen many teams in the East win the offseason only to lose the regular season dramatically. Since most of these 'wins' have been in the draft I think it is less an issue. However, I could see Hardy being a distraction.

Just hope that the young guys and offseason workouts help us avoid that. It's different when the big gets in the offseason are high flying FA's that bring attitudes and "I'm above that" baggage with them.

I would think mac's house lease should be month to month right now

He may as well put it on the market. When I completely retire I plan on Texas being where I reside. Maybe I can buy it now and rent it out until that time comes.

Radio guys were talking about how getting three 2st round talents means we could spare a 1st next year for Peterson. Plus all the comp picks, and we could do without a 1st for one year.

My thought...I'd rather call Chicago and see what they want for Forte. :hope:

1 year at $7M left over, will be 30 next year, Bears would seriously consider a early draft pick for him.

final OL roster seems to be Smith, Leary, Frederick, Martin, Free, Collins, Green with 2 open spots. i could see McGermott as the B/U Center with Hills, Hawkins & Weems fighting for the last spot

RB and more secondary help is all this team needs.

I would be down for Forte for one year, but don't think it would be worth giving up much more than a 3rd rounder. Strictly speculation

Thanks, it certainly adds some excitement around this team. Hope Collins, Gregory and Jones all play to their 1st round projections and it will go a ways in making this team really competitive

There was a reason why every team shied away from Collins. The kid was a top 10 talent that went completely undrafted, right? Maybe there were numerous things that kept teams away, I don't really know.

For what its worth, I think Gregory might be a real smart and stand up guy, but he definitely has issues off the field. He's a boom or bust type with the NFL drug policies in place.

As for Hardy and Brent, there's really no reason for Dallas to have guys like that on the team. If they were just average players, no way Dallas keeps/takes either of them.

Sorry, but a couple things here make ZERO sense. First off it seems more than half the league went after Collins as a UDFA. All Dallas did was put on the full court press to get him.

Brent has yet to even be average in this league. He really has done nothing so far except fill a role in a rotation. So doesn't that kill that entire premise?

I'd imagine it's no sure thing where Collins plays as of today. I know everyone is assuming LG but if he ends up at Tackle and we cut MB who is our backup Guard? I guess TC will sort things out.

Personally I like Leary a lot and think he is better than Free going forward. I'm putting Collins at OT and letting him Free and the draft picks fight it out. Best case scenario is Collins wins the RT job.
